Not a terrible reading week, but I didn’t get as much done over the Easter long weekend as I would have liked to. Still, I can’t complain about eight books being ticket off the TBR!

FOUR non-fiction titles this week! Inferior by Angela Saini is about the scientific studies into the differences between men and women, and the scientific justifications used (often falsely) to depict women as inferior to men. It was written very conversationally, but still intelligently. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see Saini speak at the Sydney Writer’s Festival! 🙂 Iris Apfel: Accidental Icon was a complete delight, as I would imagine Iris herself is. I found it very difficult to limit myself to just five books! I struggle to remember most things and could do with a reread of A LOT. However, I also want to read all of the new books coming out every day – not enough time to do all the reading I want to do!

1. The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

Sooooo, I have a ton of friends insisting I hurry up and read the newest book in The Stormlight Archive, Oathbringer. Only…. I can’t remember anything (except maybe two plot points) about the first two books! I did love them and devour them, but the books are so big I’ve been putting off my reread….
